Classroom Management Through a Cultural Lens
A key factor in ensuring student success is your own understanding and appreciation of how culture shapes academic and social development. In this course, participants will examine Culturally Responsive Classroom Management (CRCM) and learn to build strategies around student’s diverse cultural backgrounds. Using place based storytelling as a way to connect with and understand students culturally, Teachers will redesign current classroom management systems integrating stories of the geographical area of their schools.
Only HSTA members are eligible to take this course.
