Supporting English Language Learners in Hawai’i Schools (online)
This course will prepare participants in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) International Association’s 6 Principles for the exemplary teaching of English learners. Participants will receive practical tools to get to know their learners; create conditions for language learning; design high-quality lessons for language development; adapt lesson delivery as needed; monitor and assess student language development; and engage and collaborate within a community of practice.

The State EL/Title III Office would like to encourage teachers to continue to expand their knowledge of the WIDA ELD Standards Framework through the existing eLearning courses made available through the State EL/Title III Office or Complex Area (and future PD opportunities).
