VIRTUAL SUMMER 2026: NATIONAL BOARD JUMP START WORKSHOP

Jump Start can only be taken by HSTA Members and KS teachers

Jump Start is a non-credit workshop introducing teachers to the National Board certification process. Teachers will learn about the Five Core Teaching Propositions, the Architecture of Accomplished Teaching, and the Teacher Standards, which form the foundation for National Board certification. Participants will explore the component requirements, plan their personal National Board journeys, and collaborate with other candidates. 

The four-day program costs $150 (non-reimbursable), which is paid to HSTA.  This fee is not part of the PD reimbursement program; it supports the Jump Start facilitation and Candidate Support Program, which candidates have access to until they complete certification.

Dates: July 20, 2026, through July 23, 2026

Time: 4 pm to 8 pm each day

Cost:  $150.00 for members (HSTA and KS teachers)
